I joined the Cleves Cross Local Governing Board as a Parent Governor in 2016, and was subsequently elected as Vice-Chair. My seven-year old son attends the school and enjoys it very much. I have undertaken the required governor training programme and am currently part of the Monitoring teams for Science, Sustainability and Think Like a Learner. As part of the LGB I aim to do my best to ensure that all pupils at our school prosper and have the very best start in education.
In my day job I have worked as a Cartographer and designer at Durham University for over 21 years to date. I have lived in Ferryhill my entire life and have a strong interest in helping our children become valued members of society.
